Hi, I’m Amber — and I’ve been told I’m pretty dang crafty! From paper crafts and needlework to photography and cookie decorating, I’ve always loved making things with my hands. Sewing came later, but it quickly became one of my favorite creative outlets. That passion really took off when I made my daughter a Princess Zelda costume for Halloween when she was in preschool — after that, I wanted to sew all the things! One of my proudest moments was entering a handmade dress in the Santa Cruz County Fair and taking home the big ol’ “Best in Show” ribbon.
This business was never something I planned. After posting a license plate frame I’d made for myself on a fan page (my very first post in a CoCa group!), people asked me to list a few on Etsy. I honestly thought I’d sell maybe a handful and that would be it. Instead, it slowly grew — from license plate frames, to over a thousand handmade masks during the pandemic, and now to handbags and wallets. I feel so lucky to create for the community I love so much — and even luckier that so many customers have become friends along the way.
Outside of the shop, I’m a proud mom of two busy teens, a longtime COTF (around 50 shows since 2003 and a whole bunch of ‘heedtrips). I love meeting other fans, so if you happen to see me at a show, say hi!
Thank you for being here — your support makes this journey possible, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
